ORIGINS AND ETYMOLOGY

Astro-English: from Astronese, the word solipsist comes from the Latin word solos meaning “alone” and when used alongside the word eschatology meaning “the last things, as in death, destiny and the afterlife”, this results in the meaning “that only one’s own death and destiny can be known to exist.”
