ORIGINS AND ETYMOLOGY
Astro-English: from Astronese, the word planetation makes use of the word the planet to denote a celestial body with an atmosphere such as Earth, then conjoined with the suffix -ation denoting “an action” or “activity” to denote “human activity involving a planet”; the addition of the prefix re- to this word implies some kind of reincarnation due to this prefix meaning “again.”
