ORIGINS AND ETYMOLOGY

Astro-English: from Astronese, the prefix post- is used here to denote something “afterwards” which, when conjoined to the word astrosis, meaning “union with the astronomical world during one’s life”, altogether means “union with the astronomical world in the afterlife yet prior to cosmic cessation.”
