ORIGINS AND ETYMOLOGY
Astro-English: from Astronese, the prefix exo- is used to denote that which is “external” or “outside” of Earth in order to denote extraterrestrial life while the second part panism derives from the word panspermia; all this is to denote the combination of the theory of panspermia with Astronist beliefs about extraterrestrial life and especially with the prophecy of returnism.
