ORIGINS AND ETYMOLOGY

Astro-English: from Astronese, the word cosmatra is formed by the use of the word cosmos as the prefix cosm- which is then conjoined with the suffix -atra to denote “the physical characteristics or signs of something” which, in the context of Astronism, comes to mean “the signs of one’s achievement of astrosis.”
