ORIGINS AND ETYMOLOGY

Astro-English: from Astronese, the prefix astro- is used to denote “the astronomical world and its phenomena” while the suffix -gony is also used for the word cosmogony for the Greek suffix -gonia as “begetting” which denotes the process of “bringing something into existence” which is in turn related to “the assertion that human life ultimately originated from among the stars.”
